I especially liked one quote from Ciani:
“People think it’s about making crazy sounds, weird sounds, new sounds – whatever. I always say it’s not about the sound; it’s about the way that the sound moves.”
Yeah, that, exactly. That’s what’s hilariously depressing about sampling vintage synthesizers. That misses the point — in fact it goes in the completely opposite direction to the point.
