The federated Twitter-like social media platform Mastodon has been around for years and has never really taken off. And I don’t honestly expect it to now.
But I hope it does. Twitter is now officially down the toilet. I disabled a bunch of twitter accounts yesterday. I’m keeping the main one active for now to follow a few people important to me. But frankly I’ll be pleased if they stop tweeting. Even more pleased if I can follow them on a site not run by some egotistical clueless billionaire.
