I’ve mentioned my 3D printed fixtures for the DSO138 and the Kassutronics Wavefolder, but I’ve also printed a few other things for my synth work.
Wire spool holder
There are a bazillion wire spool holder models online, this is another one. I just didn’t feel enthusiastic about any of the ones I found so I designed one. It holds six wire spools 55 mm diameter. I’ve printed three, for my PVC stranded, silicone stranded, and PVC solid wire.
Pot and knob shaft gauge
I use both 6.0 mm and 6.35 mm round shaft pots and knobs. Sometimes I can tell the difference by eye. Sometimes not so much. I could whip out my calipers but they might be across the room or down in the basement or out in the garage or some quantum superposition of all three.
So I printed a little gauge I can keep at my electronics workbench.
Cable hanger
Keeps your modular synth patch cords and other short cables off the floor and out of the way. Unlike wall mounted hangers this can go anywhere. 7 mm center hole allows mounting on a tripod screw or hanging from the ceiling.
Resistor drawers
This is the project that got me to install OpenSCAD, because I wanted a little more front to back depth to accommodate taped resistors. I also wanted one drawer to be two compartments rather than one or three.
Came up with my own drawer labels because I like ordering by mantissa then exponent (i.e. color band order).
It could use some feet underneath, it’s awkward having drawers right at bench level.
