Dual Quantizer

This module takes a 1 V/oct pitch CV as input and outputs a CV “quantized” to the nearest scale step. Which scale? Which one do you want? The module can store up to about 70 scales for you to choose from: Major, minor, chromatic, blues, pentatonic, microtonal…

And then it does it again, because it’s two quantizers behind one panel.

A second CV can be added to the quantized one, allowing transposition. Quantization can be disabled (so the output is the same as the input) with a switch or a gate. Input sampling is normally continuous but can be triggered, in which case it behaves as a quantized (or not!) sample and hold.

This module is based on the dac/ino board.
